What are communities?

A community is a space for you and other players at a venue to stay connected — share matches, post updates, and find people to play with. You join through an invite from the venue.

How it works

  • A community is tied to a venue you're already a customer of.
  • You can't search for or browse communities — you're invited by the venue.
  • Once you've joined, you see the community feed and can post, comment, and share links to matches.
  • Communities exist in the mobile app.

Joining a community

  1. When you're invited, you get an in-app notification. Tap it.
  2. Read the community details and tap Join.
  3. The community shows up under the chat icon (the speech bubble) in the app, which has two sections — one for Chats and one for Communities.

ℹ️ Note: Joining requires a public profile. If yours is private, you'll be asked to make it public before joining. You can't switch back to private while you're a member of any community.

Posting, commenting, and sharing matches

In the community feed you can:

  • Write text posts
  • Comment on others' posts
  • Share links to matches and bookings you've created so other members can see and join them

You can delete your own posts and comments at any time. Deleting a post also removes the comments on it.

ℹ️ Note: Some communities are set so that only the venue can create posts and share matches. If that's the case, you can still comment and join the matches the venue shares — you just won't see the option to start a post or share a match link yourself.

Leaving a community

You can leave a community whenever you want. Tap Leave in the community settings. The community stays visible under "Communities you can join" — you can rejoin anytime.

Notifications

You get push notifications for:

  • New posts in a community
  • Comments on your own posts
  • Replies in threads you've commented in
  • When you're invited to a community
  • When you've been removed from a community

You can mute notifications per community in the community settings.

Things to keep in mind

  • If a venue removes you from a community, you can't rejoin without a new invite.
  • The community warns you if a player you've blocked is a member. Blocking doesn't hide their posts inside the community.
  • You can report another player in a community if something feels off. The venue receives the report and handles it.

If something goes wrong

Can't find a community you expected to see? First, check that you've accepted the invite. If it's still missing, contact the venue directly — they're the ones who create and manage the community.
