New functionality for Split Payments in the Danish market

 Improvements to Split Payments in MATCHi

We have made updates to how Split Payments are handled in MATCHi, making the payment process both smoother and more transparent for you as a player.

Previously

  • When you made a booking, the full amount for the court was reserved on your account for up to 7 days.
  • After those 7 days, the amount was charged – even if your booking was scheduled to take place much later.
  • Once the booking had passed, you would then receive a refund for the parts your co-players had paid.
  • This often meant unnecessary charges and refunds, which could be confusing and inconvenient.

Now

  • The reservation remains on your account all the way until the actual day you play, no matter how far in advance you made your booking.
  • When the booking has passed, only your final share of the payment will be charged, with your co-players’ parts already excluded.

What this means for you

With this new setup, you avoid unnecessary refunds, and you’ll always see a clear and accurate overview of your payment. It’s a simpler, more transparent way to manage your bookings – so you can focus on enjoying the game.
