Improvements to Split Payments in MATCHi
We have made updates to how Split Payments are handled in MATCHi, making the payment process both smoother and more transparent for you as a player.
Previously
- When you made a booking, the full amount for the court was reserved on your account for up to 7 days.
- After those 7 days, the amount was charged – even if your booking was scheduled to take place much later.
- Once the booking had passed, you would then receive a refund for the parts your co-players had paid.
- This often meant unnecessary charges and refunds, which could be confusing and inconvenient.
Now
- The reservation remains on your account all the way until the actual day you play, no matter how far in advance you made your booking.
- When the booking has passed, only your final share of the payment will be charged, with your co-players’ parts already excluded.
What this means for you
With this new setup, you avoid unnecessary refunds, and you’ll always see a clear and accurate overview of your payment. It’s a simpler, more transparent way to manage your bookings – so you can focus on enjoying the game.
