Service fee

  • Updated

In some markets MATCHi charges a service fee for all court and activity bookings made through the MATCHi app or web. This service fee is used instead of the service fee specifically charged for split payments. Below you can see for what markets the service fee applies and how it works. For information around fees charged by MATCHi in other markets you can go to the articles "How do I cancel a booking" here, and "Split Payment Q&A", here.

Markets were MATCHi charge a service fee for bookings and activities:
- Belgium
- Netherlands
- Thailand
- Norway
- Romania
- Sweden
- Denmark

How it works:
The service fee is 4% of the transaction amount. For each market there is also a minimum and maximum level that the fee will never go below or above. In a split payment, the service fee is calculated on the amount paid by each participant in the booking.

The service fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded if you cancel a booking or part of a booking.

The service fee is only charged for court bookings and activity bookings. There is no service fee for purchases of memberships, subscriptions, purchase of value/punch card or payments made through application forms.

There is no additional charge for Public Matches or Split payments.
There is no service fee if the price of the booking, or part of booking is 0.
